I recently started looking at birds more.. now my life has turned into Pokémon go irl. Every time I step out into my backyard, go on walks, a hike, etc.. it makes it so much more fun. It’s so exciting to find a cool looking bird, and you start to realize how crazy it is that these little guys are just always around you. I’m so in deep I just bought a pair of binoculars.

“Merlin” is a good app to start - it can listen to the bird calls around you and tells you what bird they are coming from. I highly recommend going on a walk, pull Merlin out, and see if you can spot anything cool.
